Active International seeks a Product Discovery & Marketing Analyst to join our Product Innovation team. This role is pivotal in bringing new and innovative Corporate Trade and Media solutions to the marketplace. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in marketing technology products, with a strong focus on leveraging Data Science, AI, and cloud technologies. The Product Marketer will play a key role in validating, developing, and testing product ideas, significantly contributing to reducing the cost and time to market for our products.

The Product Innovation team, where Product Discovery & Marketing Analyst will be positioned, plays a crucial role in this endeavor, focusing on the rapid prototyping of new technology solutions. Responsibilities

Market Research and Product Discovery: Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends and customer needs. Analyze market data to uncover opportunities for product innovation in corporate trade and media solutions.
Marketing Analysis: Perform detailed analysis of market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies and product development.
Product Performance Evaluation: Assess the performance of new products and gather customer feedback, using insights to inform future product iterations and marketing campaigns.
Collaboration with Product Development: Work closely with the product development team to integrate market insights into the product development process.
Innovative Validation Techniques: Employ creative approaches to validate and test product ideas, minimizing risk and optimizing market fit.

 

Technical and Analytical Skills:
Digital Marketing Tools Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics, social media advertising platforms, and SEO tools, to execute and track the effectiveness of online marketing campaigns.
A/B Testing and Hypothesis Selection: Expertise in conducting A/B testing to optimize marketing campaigns and product features. Ability to formulate and test hypotheses based on market data and user feedback, using results to inform marketing strategies and product improvements.
Innovative Validation Techniques: Creative thinking and problem-solving skills in validating and testing product ideas. Utilizing out-of-the-box methods and marketing techniques to minimize risk and cost while maximizing the potential of new product features and updates.
Understanding of AI and Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with the basics of Data Science, AI, and cloud technologies, and how they can be leveraged in marketing innovative products.
Product Management Software: Knowledge of product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana) for coordinating with the product development team.
Innovation Methodologies: Understanding of innovation frameworks and how they can be applied in product marketing processes.
Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed marketing decisions.
Data Analysis and Interpretation: Proficiency in using data analysis tools and methodologies to guide marketing strategies and understand market trends.
Market Research: Skills in conducting market research and competitive analysis specific to technology-driven products.
Technical Communication: Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts and product features to both technical and non-technical audiences.

 

The salary range for this position is $78,500-90,000. The successful candidate’s salary will depend on actual ranges of current employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, geography, as well as the candidate’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications. Qualifications

2-5 years of experience in product marketing, market analysis, or a related field.
Strong background in product discovery and marketing analysis, preferably in technology-driven solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Technology, or related field. Advanced degree or relevant certification preferred.

 

Location:
Pearl River, NY, with occasional travel required.
