Overview

Note: This job is hybrid in NYC, Metropolitan area

 

The Programmatic Media Trader, to be the primary contact for all programmatic ad campaigns and clients assigned to them. Under the strategic oversight of their manager, the Programmatic Media Trader, translates client goals into a programmatic ad strategy, implements tactics, optimizes performance, and communicates insights and analysis to demonstrate the achievement of client objectives. 

 

The Programmatic Media Trader, ensures campaigns run smoothly by troubleshooting technical issues, meeting deadlines on all deliverables, and building personal relationships with clients and vendors. This position also involves collaborating with peers, sharing relevant learnings, and communicating wins, losses, and issues on the account.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day ownership of all aspects of assigned accounts through hand-on execution.
  • Demonstrate understanding of client goals and performance to develop successful strategies (with the guidance of Supervisor & Director) to exceed campaign expectations.
  • Accurately launch campaigns in multiple systems, ensuring ad tags, tactics, creative, and measurement solutions are implemented as expected and follow best practices.
  • Communicate all aspects of a project to ensure the client understands and approves prior to campaign launch.
  • Demonstrate in-depth understanding of how a campaign set-up will allow for maximum optimization control, performance, and ensure best practices are followed – including understanding of DSPs, 3rd party ad servers and measurement/verification partners. 
  • Provide bulletproof recommendations that factor in campaign goals, historical performance, and business challenges.
  • Assist with new business proposals.
  • Work directly with programmatic platform partners (DSPs, Data Providers, etc.) to become fluent in all available features, product releases, scale opportunities, or potential platform limitations.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000. The successful candidate’s salary will depend on actual ranges of current employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, geography, as well as the candidate’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications. Qualifications

  • Proficiency in one or more of the following platforms required: The Trade Desk, DV360, Nexxen, Viant, Yahoo.
  • Experience in the following tools a strong plus: Amazon, Moat, IAS, Double Verify, CM360.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of related experience in programmatic campaign execution required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • Full comprehension of digital metrics, technologies, tracking, and pacing required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level, i.e., pivot tables) as well as Word and PowerPoint, all required.
  • Agency or marketing experience is strongly preferred.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and tight deadlines.
  • Personal and professional drive for excellence, knowledge and new skills.

 

Travel
