The Account Director plays a pivotal role in leading client relationships and strategic media initiatives at Involved Media. This individual will oversee cross-channel media campaigns and ensure clients achieve their business objectives through innovative strategies, seamless execution, and data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, embodies a collaborative spirit, and is passionate about delivering clarity and transparency within the complex media landscape.

Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, building and maintaining trusted partnerships.
  • Develop a deep understanding of clients’ business goals, challenges, and competitive landscapes.
  • Lead client strategy discussions and presentations, translating insights into actionable media solutions.

Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Develop and oversee cross-channel media strategies, ensuring alignment with client goals.
  • Collaborate with the Buying and Performance teams to create and execute integrated campaigns across digital, traditional, and emerging media.
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and provide actionable insights to optimize outcomes.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Lead and mentor account managers and coordinators to foster growth and accountability.
  • Partner closely with internal departments (Buying, Data Analytics, Creative) to deliver seamless client experiences.
  • Serve as a role model for strategic thinking, problem-solving, and proactive communication.

Financial & Operational Excellence:

  • Manage account profitability, including forecasting, budget management, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality work on time and within budget.
  • Identify and pursue organic growth opportunities within existing client accounts.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This position will have ~2 team members as direct reports

The salary range for this position is $115,000 - $125,000. The successful candidate’s salary will depend on actual ranges of current employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, geography, as well as the candidate’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications. Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in account management at a media agency or similar environment.
  • Proven expertise in managing cross-channel media campaigns (digital, programmatic, traditional media).
  • Strong understanding of media planning, buying, and analytics.
  • Exceptional client service and relationship management skills.
  • Experience leading and mentoring teams.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a results-driven approach.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Travel

This position requires regularly scheduled travel approximately up to 20% of the time.
