The Supervisor, Programmatic Media is passionate about programmatic advertising and has a desire to help architect the future of how AMS plans and buys digital media in an ever-changing programmatic landscape. As a Supervisor, Programmatic Media, you will work closely with the Programmatic leadership team to expand AMS’ programmatic offerings while creating best practices. The Supervisor, Programmatic Media will be responsible for strategic planning, measurement, optimization, scaling, and troubleshooting programmatic campaigns. They would manage and spearhead the building and executing of programmatic media strategies that help our clients meet and exceed their business goals while empowering, growing and coaching a team. They must enjoy finding solutions, mentoring, and aspiring to provide industry leadership to all clients. This is an exciting opportunity and place to continue growing your Digital Media Career.

 

This individual possesses technical experience to communicate workflow requirements in order to effectively implement and measure programmatic campaign plans across tactics, i.e. DOOH, CTV/OTT, Display, Native, Streaming Audio...  They can effectively communicate with individuals at varying levels of experience. The candidate has outstanding client-facing expertise and an excellent client services acumen with strong leadership and desire to manage a team.

 

Most importantly, the Supervisor, Programmatic Media must want to contribute to the positive development of new and existing client portfolio through strategic thought leadership, develop and implement sophisticated cross tactic strategies and test and learn scenarios inclusive of audience segmentation. Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee client’s programmatic strategy and execution
  • Maintain accountability for the overall health, support, and growth of AMS programmatic clients - ensuring team operations, deliverables, and financials are commensurate with client expectations
  • Remain on top of industry updates and facilitate an innovative turnkey approach to client campaigns
  • Interface with all media teams to respond to client needs and deliver solutions in a collaborative fashion
  • Understand and effectively communicate our value proposition, technology, processes, and partnerships as it relates to the growth of current and prospective client accounts
  • Lead new business proposals and client pitches
  • Polished strategy presentation – an understanding of how to present insights and optimization recommendations while considering the marketing challenges the clients maybe facing
  • Steer all clients facing responsibilities and needs
  • Embrace and encourage a culture based on teamwork, collaboration, and intellectual curiosities
  • Lead and support the growth of junior team members, identifying technical and career development opportunities, being a sounding board for questions and mentor to share addressable media experiences and applications
  • Lead regular training sessions (both formal or informal) to present and learn new strategies or platform features that may improve results or drive incremental business

Salary

The salary range for this position is $90K to $110K.  The successful candidate’s salary will depend on the actual ranges of current employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, geography, as well as the candidate’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications. Qualifications

  • 4+ years of relative programmatic planning and buying experience in, but not limited to, strategic planning, client management, data analysis, execution, and leadership
  • Expertise in one or multiple of the following platforms required: The Trade Desk, DV360, Xandr, Amazon, Verizon
    • Proficiency working in the following tools required: Moat, IAS, Double Verify, DCM, DFP, Flashtalking
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables), Word and PowerPoint required
  • High proficiency in cross tactic approach, DOOH, CTV/OTT, Display, Native, etc.... required
  • Understanding of broader digital media planning and buying – to ensure integration / coordination with wider media objectives occur
  • Proficient knowledge of both the buy and sell side of the programmatic ecosystem, inclusive of DSPs, SSPs, and Publisher Side - Ad Servers
  • Process oriented, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Time & project management skills are critical
  • Excellent writing, communication, and organization skills both internally and externally
