The primary role of the Programmatic Media Assistant is to support the programmatic team in ad trafficking, campaign setup and monitoring, reporting, and billing.  Responsibilities also include support of client communication related to campaign planning, execution, and analytics cross-tactic.  The Programmatic Media Assistant serves as an integral part of the operations team, supporting key projects and campaigns across accounts.  The ideal candidate has an ability to multi-task, is passionate about new technology as well as programmatic media channels, and is eager to learn and grow within the digital media team at AMS. Responsibilities

  • Supports programmatic team on all aspects of paid media campaign management and ad optimization.
  • Builds personal/technical expertise to establish a comprehensive understanding of client’s marketing objectives and technology platforms.
  • Stays informed of the latest buying platform developments and new ad opportunities.
  • Supports programmatic team in pre-campaign responsibilities, including:
    • Gathers creative assets and tracking instructions.
    • Provides guidance on creative development, specs and best practices.
    • Identifies targeting and platform opportunities based on specific brand parameters and key performance indicators.
  • Assists in campaign setup and launch:
    • Sets up campaigns accurately, ensuring ad tags, budgets, targeting, pixels and creative are loaded correctly into the platforms.
    • Ensures creatives are approved before campaign launch date, as appropriate.
  • Supports campaign management:
    • Ensures timely campaign optimizations.
    • Monitors target pacing.
    • Maintains regular QA checks.
  • Coordinates campaign reporting:
    • Analyzes overall campaign performance and builds custom reporting and strategies against client’s key performance indicators.
    • Provides ongoing campaign insights based on campaign analysis.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

The salary range for this role is $45,000 - $50,000. The successful candidate’s salary will depend on the actual ranges of current employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, geography, as well as the candidate’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Marketing, Advertising or Media preferred or equivalent experience is required.
  • Up to one year+ of related work experience or training/internship, preferred.
  • Understanding of digital metrics, technologies, tracking, and pacing, strongly preferred.
  • Intermediate level knowledge Microsoft Excel (pivot tables), Word and PowerPoint,
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and tight deadlines, essential.
  • Personal drive for excellence, knowledge, and new skills, a must-have.

No regularly-scheduled travel is required for this position.
