Overview

Note:  This role has a hybrid work schedule in Pearl River, NY.

 

The HR Manager is a culture catalyst and operational leader responsible for delivering a seamless employee experience across onboarding, engagement, and recognition. This role is central to shaping a workplace where people feel connected, valued, and empowered—while also using data to uncover insights that drive strategic decisions. The ideal candidate is both people-focused and systems-savvy, with a passion for building inclusive, high-performing environments.

Responsibilities

Onboarding & Integration

  • Lead the onboarding process from offer acceptance through the first 90 days, ensuring timely coordination with IT, facilities, and benefits.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation and post-hire check-ins, including 30-day and probationary reviews.
  • Ensure timely completion of I-9s, background checks, and benefits enrollment.
  • Partner with IS and Communications to ensure new hires are equipped, welcomed, and connected from day one.

Culture & Engagement

  • Serve as a steward of company culture—designing and delivering experiences that foster belonging, trust, and pride.
  • Manage the annual engagement calendar, including ERG programming, town halls, and recognition events.
  • Oversee work anniversary tracking and communications to ensure timely and meaningful recognition.
  • Work closely with Corporate Communications and Engagement Manager to identify the communication of P&C initiatives via channels including weekly connects, e-zine and events.
  • Champion diversity, inclusion, and belonging efforts in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Coordinate and evolve the employee rewards and recognition program, including budget planning, vendor partnerships, and impact measurement.

Data & Insights

  • Build and maintain dashboards that track key Global HR metrics such as retention, onboarding satisfaction, engagement scores, and recognition participation.
  • Analyze global onboarding, engagement, and performance data to identify patterns, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with HRIS and analytics teams to ensure global data integrity and reporting accuracy.
  • Translate insights into actionable strategies that enhance employee experience, inform leadership decisions, and support continuous improvement.

Org Design & Compliance

  • Maintain and update global organizational charts in partnership with HRIS and leadership teams.
  • Ensure compliance with employment regulations including FLSA, I-9, and internal audit requirements.
  • Maintain and update employee handbooks, policies, and codes of conduct.
  • Support offboarding processes including documentation, exit interviews, and equipment collection.

Learning & Development

  • Partner with the Digital Learning Manager to support Global Learning and Development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the L&D team to identify training needs and align programs with organizational goals.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of training content across various formats.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness and impact of learning programs.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This role does not currently have supervisory responsibilities.

The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $85,000. The successful candidate’s salary will depend on the actual ranges of current employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, geography, as well as the candidate’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related, a plus.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of HR experience with a focus on onboarding, culture, or employee experience, required.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using HRIS and dashboard tools (e.g., ADP, Rippling, UKG), needed.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and project management skills are essential.
  • Proven ability to build trust and influence across all levels of the organization, a must-have.
  • Must demonstrate passion for creating inclusive, engaging, and data-informed workplaces.

Travel

This role does not require regularly scheduled travel.
