Overview

Note: This position is Hybrid to Pearl River, NY

 

This position works with the VP, Dir. of Client Services and the Account Directors in the Local Media department to provide support on accounts from inception to completion. Potential additional responsibilities include working directly with Local Media Buyers/Sr Buyers on their campaigns from inception to completion

Responsibilities

    • Works directly with the Account Director to evaluate specs from clients
    • Sends out avail requests
    • Set up campaign in pre-buy system for buyers
    • Requests the proper estimates and verifying billing information
    • Liaise with Account Directors to send proposals to clients with all pertinent documentation
    • Prepares traffic list to send to the client
    • Pulls all final reports (i.e., p&l, x10, S45, trade reports) and reviews for accuracy
    • Reconciles final client billing packets
    • Reviews weekly posts for assigned clients; verifies schedules are posting in accordance with client guidelines and reports findings to Account Director
    • Prepares and reviews post-buy analyses for accuracy
    • Prepares paperwork to follow new orders to stations, including traffic instructions, letter of liability or credit requests as needed
    • Confirm receipt of orders, collect contracts from stations and/or station representatives.  Checks contracts for accuracy
    • Enters make good adjustments and preemptions into the media stewardship system after Buyer approval
    • Collects pre- and post-logs by deadline ensuring log times are entered into the media stewardship system and reports are pulled correctly. Follows up on any discrepancies by checking log times against orders
    • Reviews of various reports and proofs for accuracy, i.e., profit and loss and spot separation reports
    • Trouble shoots and resolve billing discrepancies and Invoice Matching Reports (IMRs)
    • Develops productive relationships throughout Active and with external station representatives
    • Assists and participates in ad hoc projects as needed

Supervisory Responsibilities  

                                               

This position has no supervisory duties.

The salary is $45,000 - $48, 000. The successful candidate’s salary will depend on the actual ranges of current employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, geography, as well as the candidate’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

1 year of media-related work experience required

Proficiency in Excel and Word required

Proficiency in PowerPoint and Media Buying software, a plus

Ability to effectively navigate the Internet preferred

 

Travel
